چکیده

Background: Conservative treatment of deep dermal or full-thickness skin defects often results in hypertrophic scars contractures; thus, compressive therapy has been used after wound closure to prevent treat scar deformities. However, contraction begins the early proliferative phase and peaks 2 weeks. We therefore attempted compression as a means conservative deep-skin evaluated its clinical outcomes. Methods: In 21 cases (19 patients), was started second week injury. Saline-moistened gauze foam dressings were placed on open wounds, silastic plates epithelialization.
